At some point, though, you almost have to get back to something that is ultimately unprovable, like the concept of infinity, the beginning of time, or the origin of matter. Of course, quantum physicists are doing a great job of shaking up a lot of our assumptions of reality, but I don't think even they can cope with infinity.
